I forgot to mention this with regards to my early Sunday morning commute to see red Fred. The local paper, the Sun, has a box on our corner and it's the trashier of the local papers. So there's usually a deadly picture or a shocking headline to make you fear life itself. However, Sunday morning was a picture of Jennifer Heil smiling. In big bold black letters it read:
LYING
TART!
I stopped in my tracks and did a double-take. It took me a moment to realize that the newspaper box frame had cut off the first letter of each word. The "F" and the "S" had been cut off.

A couple of weeks ago the Sun had a headline that read something like "CANAL DISASTER". But when I first saw the box, the funny angle had cut the "C" off. Ha ha ha.
B. just reminded me that the headline was actually "CANAL PLUNGE". (Although all joking aside, the actual news story that the title refers to is pretty horrific.)
We expect those headlines from the Sun so it's not far from the realm of possibility that either of these headlines could exist.
I'm now going to be alert for more.
I love the lying tart! That's great! I was wondering if it was a recipe disaster story at first. Ona horrible note, today's sun has a headline reading something like Actor Arrested on Cild Porn Charges- and it's a guy well known in the whoville film/tv/comedy scene. Scary that that's teh front page headline, given the state of our world. Cheney and guns, anyone?
